“Jesus Christ became flesh-and-blood,
and moved into the Neighborhood.”
John 1:14

New Orleans is a world-class city rich in history, culture and good times. In 2018, we will celebrate 300 years of being a melting pot for the world to enjoy our “Joie De Vivre” – joy of life!

The most beautiful facet of our city is the people who call it home. As any true New Orleanian should, we believe our neighborhood is the best neighborhood! Treme is truly one of a kind:

  • The oldest existing African-American neighborhood in America
  • The Birthplace of Jazz music
  • Home of the famous Zulu Mardi Gras Indians
  • Filled with neighbors who love us deeply!

New Orleans is also known for its brokenness: broken hearts and broken homes fill our neighborhoods.

Everything Beautiful believes Jesus Christ is the solution.

He provides the faith, hope, and love to restore lives and our neighborhood.

Our Goals for New Orleans

2017 – Grow in relationships with neighbors through monthly cookouts, coaching youth sports teams, and mentoring neighbors; create experiences for transcendent relationships to grow; stabilize financial support.

2018 – Buy home large enough to host friends for meals, game nights, and bible studies.
We believe leaders are built in living rooms.

2020 – Buy/rent space to begin weekly church services.
We will share responsibility of providing church leadership with our neighbors.

Treme Is Everything Beautiful.

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives,
and release from darkness for the prisoners,
to proclaim God’s favor,
to comfort all who mourn,
and provide for those who are grieving—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes,
the oil of joy instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called “Oaks of Righteousness”,
a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.
They will rebuild the ancient ruins
and restore the places long devastated;
They will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.
-The Prophet Isaiah, Isaiah 61:1-4
